Getting Arty...

Because Miss T is unable to play soccer, work, or even walk well for that matter, she is getting down

So

I booked us into a drawing workshop so she can extend the arty side of her soul and perhaps be distracted in this way. We did this workshop on a Sunday and apart from arriving a tad early (45mins) a good time was had by all. There were 12 of us and it was a very quiet day, full of concentration and creativity. I am arty but have never found my style. I had a great time. This was a beginners course and here is a sample of our talents on the day.

just Bliss...

My Family 2014

Life has been pretty wonderful of late. It is heavenly having the Silver Fox back and I am ensuring we have a 'Family Day' every Sunday which includes no electronic gadgets and a walk or a ride somewhere with dog in tow. Just chilling and being together.

Miss T and I are off to see a surgeon today as it would appear her soccer injury is a tad more complicated with a fractured patella and a 1 cm foreign body floating around. I have booked her into a drawing workshop as she is missing soccer +++ and getting quite down. I need to nurture the artistic side.

I went on a recent get away with my gorgeous sister and it was heavenly to chill, chat, laugh and just be together. It was 6 months since I last saw her in person. Way too long. Ridiculous.

I then came back to some Mother's Day celebrations with my little family. Master T and I had a nice bike ride and watched Miss T having a driving lesson. She was doing pretty well too. It was kind of weird though to see her behind the wheel looking confident and sort of little. How can she be that old?

The photo above is from one of our Sunday jaunts, up a steep hill, before we knew the knee situation. This one I have 'Waterlogue-d' nice huh? The Silver Fox also had a torn calf muscle at the time so at least they could limp together.

Master T got a haircut for me which turned out to be rather s-h-o-r-t much to his horror. He was not at all keen to go to school today and declined my advice to tell everyone his name was 'Shorn' or that he had a fight with a lawnmower. Used to work when I was at school!

Trust your weekend was bliss. Life is good!

The Biscuit Police...

Well, you see, it was the Silver Fox's birthday and he had a lovely time. I made him a cheesecake and he got presents galore, including something special from Ruth.

Now Ruth is the Mother of a friend of ours and makes the most truly amazing biscuits you have ever tasted. IShe is up visiting our friend and brought some over for the Silver Fox as a birthday present.

But, you see the Silver Fox doesn't like to share them because they were his present and I don't blame him because if they were mine I wouldn't share either. So, he will hand me one just occasionally and I think to date I have had 3.

So there I was in the kitchen today, cooking, cooking, shopping, putting away, cooking, washing up... You know how it goes. AND these biscuits are right in front of me.

Staring at me

Saying "eat me"

So I did. I ate one. Unseen. I made sure of that. I ate it slowly and really tasted it.

Perfect

So, the Silver Fox came out and said " oh, I see you have helped yourself to my biscuits?"

What the?

I denied it of course

Hmmm, it would appear he had counted them so knew I had taken one.

He is turning professional. That sounds like something I would do.

I told him he was lucky I only took one

And he said I was lucky I only took one too

Haha, sounds like a potential Death By Biscuit situation.

Ps: I am standing next to the biscuits now and the Silver Fox isn't home! I might send him a photo of me holding all the biscuits just about to eat them. Haha. He shouldn't mess with a professional!
