Glorious, glorious, glorious!
ReplyDeleteCaptain V gifted me with a pot of scarlet ones for mother's day this year, they had lovely yellow throats and made a very sunny welcome for our visitors when placed on the hallstand.
Hoping that you are gifted some when they start popping out in spring.
Personally I love a hand picked bloom with fragrance, no matter the type.
Captain V is getting a little jealous as an elderly male neighbour has brought me down the most glorious rose buds two weeks in a row. Of course I've popped each one into a bud vase on my bedside table to allow their fragrance permeate our dreams...and give my man the incentive to get his own act together!
