Welcome to first day of Winter. Officially that is. Where I live we don't get snow but it would be nice to experience it I think. I might even l-o-v-e it. This is my favourite time of the year. I l-o-v-e to wear scarves, boots and jumpers. I love the crispness of the mornings and snuggling at night. What is your favourite season?

PS: Thanks for your lovely comments about our bath disaster. Luckily we have no carpets so it was just a case of mopping up the floors etc.  The Silver Fox (who built the house) pointed out that the drain was covered by the bathmat so couldn't drain but the shear volume of water didn't help either. Hmmmm, now we know....

Great Excitement...

Great excitement here in our little household. Why? The flannelet sheets have been put on the beds!!! Yay!! Winter is coming and there is nothing nicer than snuggling in to a cosy bed without having to warm the sheets first. Do you get excited at such things? When LJ and I were little my Mum would put rosebud flannelet sheets on our beds as a surprise when Winter started to creep in. We were beside ourselves with joy and could hardly sleep we were so excited!! Winter is my favourite season. I love the crisp mornings and seeing your breath in the air. Although, by some standards, we have a very mild Winter here. Aaah, the joy of the everyday...
