(Sorry, couldn't help it. One of my favourite movies is 'Muriel's Wedding' with our darling Toni Collette when she was just starting out and this was line from the movie spoken frequently by Muriel's sister which I have adapted slightly for the post....)
This is a house from our neighbourhood with quite a large mural on the wall depicting 'white caps' and horses galloping through the waves. Not my cup of tea but very striking all the same. There is another house with something similar by the same artist. I will try for a quick photo, secretly another time. I've taken this as I am whizzing by on my bike. Pretty good for an action shot really. If you look r-e-a-l-l-y closely at this photo you can see someone in the kitchen looking at me. Sprung!!!
Ciao for now
just Martha
Um, gulp. I'd be planning a midnight caper with long paint rollers & white paint. Haven't seen anything quite this bad since Copper Art stores were all the rage!!!

"What where they thinking, it looks like a business premises rather than a home, you don't live in Kurri kurri do you, its the city of murals!
ReplyDeleteNot my cup of tea but excellent work on the action shot.. I've been wanting to take shots of the homes down at the beachfront and always feel it is invading their privacy... or.. I will get caught!! haha
ReplyDeleteMy favourite house down there is up for sale though so.. I say open season.. might have to go take a few shots...Around this way we have some awful new homes ... concrete monoliths with no character.. it's a shame..
Have a lovely weekend.. xxx Julie
