Leap into 2011...

So, what does 2011 hold I wonder? Are you going to 'leap' into it? Step off the edge into the unknown?... Follow your dreams and be brave enough to 'go for it'? I am a firm believer that you need a plan. How will we know what to achieve if we don't aim for a destination? I don't think we need to know how to get there, just where we are going. What do you think?

For me 2011 will continue the path the 'me'. I have a little 'anxiety beast' to tame as it frequently blocks my way. That will be first on my list. So here is a little snippet of my list:
  • Start my own hobby business to satisfy my creative side. Stay tuned
  • Work smarter rather than harder
  • Buy a car for me - something diesel
  • Finish a course to be able to teach
  • Do a soft furnishings sewing course
  • Support my parents as my Mum slips away into the Twilight more and more each day
  • Camp!! There Silver Fox, it is on the list so must be achieved
  • The Silver Fox and I to go to Melbourne
  • LJ (sister) and I to go to Byron for a long weekend
  • Maintain quality rather than quantity in my life. (Bit airy-fairy but you know what I mean)
  • Continue quality family moments
  • Continue my road to health
  • Give my children 'experiences'

What is on your list dear Bloggers?...

Ciao for now

just Martha

  1. Hey Martha, My list is simple this year, I want to make more time for doing things with friends. More eating out and movies and gallery visits and small trips. Life is too short to spend it all working and cleaning. Happy NEW year. cheers Katherine

  2. I've not written a physical list yet, but will do that tonight. Certainly agree with your quality over quantity approach, life is too short not to have it! Wishing you a wonderful 2011 and look forward to hearing all about your camping adventure.

  3. I'm sorry to hear about your mum, Just Martha.
I haven't actually made a list, but it will certainly be to spend as much time as I can with friends, especially those I don;t get to see so often. Just trying to make the most of each day I guess. Hope your 2011 will be a very special and fulfilled one for you and your family.

  4. Sounds like a plan Martha, Im with you on the health one.
    Happy new year!!

  5. Great range of goals Martha. I agree it is always nice to know which direction you're heading for xx

  6. Love all your goals, I have both personal and business goals and if I even achieve half of them I will be happy, hope you have a fantastic year, Happy New Year

  7. Oh gosh, way too much. I'm thinking of creating a monthly 'to do' list this year instead of a big yearly one. The first thing on my list for next year is planning and saving for Christmas BEFORE Christmas week. We'll see how that goes.

Thanks heaps for commenting on my blog last year. I've added you now and I plan to 'get around' a lot more this year.

  8. Great list! I haven't written mine yet, I need to get cracking on it :)
